Behind the Scenes: Preparing The Ink of Africa for Innibos 2026
The countdown to Innibos 2026 has officially begun, and behind every great event is weeks of planning, designing, building, and plenty of hard work.
At The Ink of Africa, we wanted our stall to reflect the same values as our brand—quality, craftsmanship, and a genuine love for Africa.
Building Our Stall from the Ground Up
Rather than buying expensive display units, we decided to build our own custom shelving from scratch. Starting with simple timber frames, each display unit was carefully assembled, painted, fitted with shelving, and finished with natural burlap back panels to create a warm, rustic African feel.
Every detail was chosen to complement our wildlife-inspired T-shirts while creating a clean and inviting shopping experience.The result is a display that is not only practical but also perfectly matches the identity of The Ink of Africa.
Almost Ready for Innibos
With the display shelves now complete, we are entering the final stage of preparation.
Our focus now shifts to:
- Packing our premium T-shirt collections.
- Preparing our payment systems.
- Printing our final signage.
- Organising our promotional material.
Getting everything ready for setup on 29 June 2026.
Every day brings us one step closer to opening our stall and welcoming visitors from all over South Africa.

The Ink of Africa was created to celebrate the beauty, strength, and spirit of Africa's wildlife.
Each design tells a story inspired by the animals that roam our incredible landscapes—from the mighty elephant and fearless lion to the elusive leopard, resilient rhino, and powerful buffalo.
